S!sters Speak Life was born from lived experience, faith, and determination.

In the beginning, the vision was clear—to bring breast cancer awareness and access to screening to women in our community, including access to mobile 3D mammogram screenings. But the first attempt did not unfold as expected. Only one woman registered, and the minimum number required to bring the mobile mammogram unit could not be met.

But the mission did not stop there.

With faith, persistence, and a deep commitment to the community, we pressed forward—building partnerships, raising awareness, and reaching more individuals.

What began as a challenging start became a powerful movement rooted in determination, faith, and community.

Today, through our partnership with Invision Diagnostics and ongoing outreach efforts, S!sters Speak Life continues to expand access to life-saving screenings and support—ensuring that no one faces the breast cancer journey alone.

Founder & Vision

S!sters Speak Life was founded by Freddie Ann Harris, a two-time breast cancer survivor whose journey reflects the strength of faith, the support of family, and the power of community.

What she experienced revealed a deeper need—one that extended beyond survival.

She saw the gaps.
She felt the need.
And she answered the call.

Freddie’s journey also revealed deeply personal challenges—particularly the lack of properly fitted, dignified mastectomy bras for plus-size women.

Like many survivors, Freddie faced moments of vulnerability—navigating not only the physical changes, but the emotional weight that can come with the journey. Through reflection, faith, and healing, she found the courage to transform those moments into purpose.

This insight became part of her broader mission—to ensure that individuals are not only supported in survival, but restored in confidence, dignity, and wholeness.

Through S!sters Speak Life, she continues to build a space where individuals are supported, seen, and empowered—not just to survive, but to live with confidence and hope.

Her story is not just one of survival.

It is a story of transformation.

A story that continues to inspire a movement.

Grounded in faith, Freddie continues to walk in purpose, holding onto the promise found in Jeremiah 29:11—
